If you need to make minor changes/corrections, they need to be submitted to us via email before 5pm 16th August 2024 to allow sufficient time to print the abstract booklets and programme.

Standard oral presentations:

These will be scheduled as a 15-minute slot (~10 minutes per presentation followed by ~5 minutes for questions).

Pecha Kucha oral presentations:

These will be scheduled as a 6-minute slot (~4 minutes per presentation followed by ~2 minutes for questions). Pecha Kucha short talk presentations need to be 15 slides, 15 seconds per slide, with a maximum of 15 words per slide.

Please send a copy of your slides to BABAOconference2024@gmail.com on or before 5pm Friday 6th September 2024.

Posters should be printed A1 size and in Portrait orientation. You will be assigned a code which you will receive at the registration desk when you arrive, this code will correspond to the poster board where your poster is to be displayed. Assistance with poster display will be provided on the day

Print ahead:

You may wish to print your poster ahead of time and bring it with you. You can collect your code and poster fastenings from the registration desk on Saturday morning.

Print with Keele:

If you would prefer to have your poster printed and ready for you at the registration desk, then you can use Keele Print House to order your poster quoting ‘BABAO 2024 and your name’. The cost is ~£19 and payment is due on collection. Note unless otherwise arranged with the conference team, please collect from Keele University SU before 3pm on Friday 6th September.
