The BABAO 2024 conference will take place at Keele Hall on the University of Keele campus which is located a short distance from Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme, in Staffordshire
Please note that Keele Hall is just off of Keele Hall Road which along with University Drive is a fairly steep hill

Further Information
In 1962, the University College of North Staffordshire became Keele University and Keele Hall became the centre of the new academic campus. The hall itself is a stunning building with decorative Italian gardens surrounded by acres of woodland and several lakes which make up the campus today. The talk sessions for the conference will be hosted in The Salvin Room of Keele Hall, a beautifully ornate room previously known as The Drawing Room. Together with the Old Library and The Great Hall, The Salvin Room forms part of The Salvin Suite. Click the 'Read More' button below.

Talks will be streamed to the The Old Library of Keele Hall which is found on the first floor, behind The Great Hall and is accessed through The Salvin Room. Our additional events (Show and Tell, Mentor lunch, & BSL basics) will be hosted in The Nesfield Suite of Keele Hall. This room was orginally a conservatory area but is now a bar area. The Sneyd Room will be available throughout the conference as a dedicated quiet place. The Sneyd Room of Keele Hall was formerly the study of Ralph Sneyd. A Barbecue buffet style dinner will be provided on the evening of Saturday 7th September, in The Great Hall. Vegetarian, Vegan, and dietary accommodations will be catered for. Weather permitting seating will also be available on the Lawn.
Salvin, Conference Dinner
Accommodation for those guests staying Saturday night is provided on Keele Campus. A smaller number of rooms are also available on campus for Friday night at an additional cost. For all campus accommodation buildings, the check-in time is 1pm and check-out is at 9.30am. While we can confirm the provided accommodation will be located on campus, please note that the exact building name and associated directions will be confirmed and provided towards the end of August.

If alternative accommodation is required, there is a hotel located on campus, opposite the Harper & Keele Veterinary School (left at the roundabout as your enter the main campus drive). Please note that room availability cannot be guaranteed at this venue and the cost is not covered in the price of your conference ticket.
